| Who are Australian Biofuel Users? |
|

Australian Biofuel Users exist to promote the use of biofuels in Australia. The following is taken from our constitution and should adequately explain our goals and purpose:
Australian Biofuel Users exists to: (a) Serve as a national voice on biofuel for the issues pertinent to its members; (b) Promote the increased utilisation of fuels which are economically viable as well as being socially and environmentally responsible; (c) Facilitate communication related to biofuels between the membership and the general public, government and industry; (d) Represent the membership at conferences, events, or gatherings where biofuels is topic or issue requiring representation; and (e) Represent biofuel consumers.
Australian Biofuel Users will achieve these aims by: (a) Fostering co-operation and communication within the membership; (b) Acting as the principal coordinating and lobbying body for the membership; (c) Nurturing unity amongst members by providing a forum for their opinions; (d) Encouraging the development of policies and strategies within the membership that will lead to increased availability of biofuels; (e) Promoting the achievement and maintenance of high standards in biofuel production; (f) Encouraging communication between biofuels suppliers, vehicle industry and consumers; and (g) Encouraging the exchange of information and communication between the membership and the community.
